The second is a flat referral fee paid by partner fantasy operators when a reader signs up via a tracked link. The third is sponsored editorial, clearly labelled at the top of the page.

Why we take a flat referral fee, not a commission
COME SPORTS takes a flat referral fee from partner operators, not a per-deposit or per-contest commission. The flat structure is deliberate: a percentage commission would create an editorial incentive to push readers into larger stakes, which would distort our guides and damage reader trust.
Editorial independence
COME SPORTS is an editorial guide. We are not the operator of the companion app, and we do not run contests.

Review independence
Where we review an app or a feature, the review is paid for by the editorial budget, not by the operator. Reviews are not pre-approved by any commercial partner.

How the editorial team is structured
COME SPORTS is run by a small editorial team of senior cricket analysts, data engineers and a full-time compliance reviewer. The cricket analysts write the guides, run the model audits and produce the captain picks. The data engineers pull the ball-by-ball feed, normalise the data and maintain the form index. The compliance reviewer reads every claim against the current state-level notifications and the latest operator terms.
The team is intentionally small. A smaller team means a tighter editorial pipeline, fewer handoffs and a faster correction cycle. It also means we cannot cover every cricket event globally — we focus on the IPL, the T20 World Cup, the Asia Cup and the bilateral series involving India.
Operator commercial relationships — full list
COME SPORTS has commercial referral relationships with three fantasy operators in India. The relationships are documented below with the referral fee structure. The relationships do not affect our editorial coverage — operators are listed on the comparison page because they are the largest by user count, not because we have a relationship with them.
Operator A: flat ₹150 per signup, no per-deposit or per-contest component. Operator B: flat ₹200 per signup, no per-deposit or per-contest component. Operator C: flat ₹100 per signup, plus a quarterly editorial sponsorship of ₹50,000 for the IPL quarter. All three relationships are flat-fee only.

Independent of any operator — our editorial stance
COME SPORTS is editorially independent. We do not operate a paid fantasy app ourselves. We do not take a commission on contests entered through any third-party operator. We do not run sponsored editorial in disguise. Where we do accept sponsorship, the post is clearly labelled and reviewed under the same pipeline as every other guide.
Our funding model is straightforward: display advertising plus a flat referral fee paid by partner operators when a reader signs up via a tracked link. Sponsored editorial is reviewed under the same editorial pipeline as any other guide.
Sponsored editorial is not "advertorial" — it does not advocate for the sponsor's product. It is editorial content that the sponsor has paid to distribute, but the editorial control remains with COME SPORTS. If we cannot write an honest, accurate sponsored post, we decline the campaign.
How to spot undisclosed material connections
COME SPORTS believes that transparency is the foundation of reader trust. If you spot an undisclosed material connection — for example, a glowing app review that does not mention a referral fee — please write to [email protected]. We investigate every report within 48 hours and correct any material connection we discover.
Material connections are any relationship that a reasonable reader would consider likely to affect the editorial coverage. This includes referral fees, sponsored editorial, free products or services received for review, personal relationships with operators and any other relationship that creates a conflict of interest.
Non-material connections — for example, an analyst who holds an account on a fantasy operator for their own personal use — are not disclosed unless the analyst is writing about that specific operator. We do not believe that a personal hobby account creates a material connection that a reader needs to know about.

Where we do have a commercial relationship, it is disclosed on the comparison page with a small disclosure line above the comparison table.
If a reader spots an undisclosed material connection, please write to [email protected]. We investigate every report within 48 hours. Material connections discovered after publication are corrected within 24 hours and the correction is logged on the disclosure page.
Why we accept display advertising but not pay-for-play
COME SPORTS accepts display advertising because it is the most common funding model for editorial sites and because the editorial control remains entirely with us. The display ads are served through a third-party ad exchange — we do not choose which specific ads appear, and the advertisers do not have any influence over our editorial content.
We do not accept pay-for-play — payment in exchange for a positive review or a positive comparison ranking. The difference is that display advertising is paid for access to the audience, not for specific editorial output. A pay-for-play arrangement would directly compromise our editorial independence.
We also do not accept payment to remove negative coverage. If we have a criticism of an operator, that criticism stays on the site regardless of whether the operator offers us a sponsorship. The site has received multiple such offers; all have been declined.
A complete inventory of our commercial relationships
COME SPORTS maintains commercial relationships with a small number of fantasy sports and sports analytics operators. As of the publication date of this disclosure, we have affiliate agreements with 6 Indian fantasy operators and 2 sports data providers. The full list of partners is maintained in our partner directory and is updated within 48 hours of any change.
Editorial coverage of any partner is subject to the same standards as coverage of non-partners. The Compliance Officer maintains a wall between the commercial team (which negotiates affiliate terms) and the editorial desk (which decides what to cover and how). No editorial staff member is informed of which operators are commercial partners, and no commercial team member is informed of upcoming editorial coverage.
When COME SPORTS publishes a review or comparison that includes a partner, we add a "Partner" tag to the relevant card or section. Partner tags are not endorsements; they are simply a transparency marker so readers know the commercial relationship exists. Our ranking methodology is published in full and is the same for partners and non-partners alike. Where a partner has paid for premium placement (sponsored cards, dedicated comparison slots), we mark the placement with "Sponsored" in addition to the partner tag.
Reader trust is our most valuable asset. The single most important thing this publication does is publish honest, useful content.
